Delivery & Returns

We use Royal Mail, Parcel Force & Collect Plus to deliver our products, as we have found these to provide the most efficient and reliable service. Royal Mail quote more than 95% of first class items arrive the next working day but please allow 3 working days for delivery before contacting us.

We have two post & packaging charges for the lighter post box size items it is £2.50 and anything above this is £3.45 for your entire order.

We only despatch and process orders Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. We do not despatch at weekends or bank holidays. If you order on a weekend your order will not be processed until the next working day.

We do not offer same day delivery on any of our products. Next working day delivery can be specified at shipping in your shopping Cart during the check out process. subject to terms and conditions below.

During busy periods such as Christmas & Easter orders can be delayed. 


  • We offer free collection to local customers in the East Sussex/Hastings area. 
  • Royal Mail 1st Class Large Letter is £1.80 up to 495g
  • Collect Plus orders over 500g is £3.40 for entire order


Dispatch Times On Personalised Products

We design, print & hand wrap all of our Personalised chocolate bars here at Personalised Chocolates 4U so standard delivery can take up to 5 days to despatch, but always aim for this to be sooner where possible.


Dispatch Times On Non Personalised Products

All item that are pre packed and ready to be shipped, we aim to dispatch them within 2 working days.


If you select next day delivery and order before 12pm, your order will be delivered the next working day, unless other wise stated or your order includes a personalised product (but remember we will need a signature to deliver your parcel, so please make sure that there is someone to accept delivery if you can't be there!)

Missed Delivery:

Should delivery to the address not be possible, a card should be left by the carrier to let you know how you can collect the parcel or how to arrange re-delivery. It then becomes the recipient's responsibility to arrange a suitable re-delivery date. We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available, or if goods become unsuitable as a result of non-delivery. 


We hope your order is to your complete satisfaction. If there is a problem please contact us and we will aim to fix things for you as soon as possible.

If no one is there & you have a signed for delivery then a card will be left and a redelivery can be arranged but it must be at the same address. Our Couriers will not attempt a delivery at a weekend.

All Orders are shipped by Royal Mail & Parcel Force so we have to work by their standard terms of practice. Although a very large percentage of post orders will arrive next day, this is not a guaranteed service. If an item has not arrived after 1 week then please email us or contact us via our contact page,we will give you a set of procedures to follow to try and locate the item. If in the unfortunate event that your chocolate/product has arrived damaged while in transit please contact us via our contact page and we will get back to you with our return procedures.


We try our hardest to maintain the time scales above there may be exceptional circumstances when these may not apply. This can be times when Royal Mail are very busy, like Christmas/Easter or in the event of you not supplying a full correct address, like a wrong postcode. In these events please contact us for more details as deliveries can take longer.
